DEATH CLAIMS WILLIAM JONES 

BEAVERTON --- William Jones, 63, of Billings Township, Gladwin County, died 
Thursday evening at the Gladwin Hospital.  He was born in Lapeer County May 9, 
1894 and had lived in Gladwin County for 60 years. Mr. Jones was a farmer. He 
was married to Miss Laura Wolfe in
1917 at Hope.  Survivors besides his wife, include four sons, Howard of 
Midland and Earl, Frank and John of Beaverton; two daughters, Mrs. Manda 
Hathaway of Beaverton and Mrs.
Mary Howard of Rhodes; a sister, Mrs. Nelson Owens (address not available), 
and eight grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday 
from the Hall Funeral Home at Gladwin with the Rev. Henry Hall officiating. 
Burial will be in Billings cemetery.
