Andy Karch, 81, of 3120 Whitney Beach Rd., Beaverton, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 
1989, in the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center, Midland, after a long 
illness. Born in Maynard, Ohio, April 2, 1908, he moved to Gladwin County in 
1954 from Detroit. Mr. Karch was a tool and die maker until retiring in 1958. 
He was a charter member of the Hay Senior Citizen Club. Mr. Karch and the 
former Pauline Marshall were married Aug. 7, 1930, in Flint.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Robert of Novi; one brother, 
John Kashinsky of Utica; 2 sisters, Mrs. Louise Morocco of Oxford and Mrs. 
Josephine Greives of Sterling Heights; and 2 grandchildren. 
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Roy Glasgow officiated and burial was in the Tobacco 
Township Cemetery, Beaverton.
