Appolonia "Pauline' Karch, 86, of Gladwin, died Friday, July 20, 2001 at the 
Gladwin Living Centre in Gladwin after a short illness. Born Sept. 22, 1914 in 
Detroit, she lived in Gladwin County since 1954 and previously lived in 
Detroit. She married Andy Karch, Aug. 7, 1930 in Flint. He preceded her in 
death in 1989. She was a homemaker. 
   Surviving are one son, Robert and wife Dorothy of Novi; two grandchildren; 
one brother, Chester Marshall of Savannah, Ga.; one sister, Mary Wozniak of 
Dearborn; and several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents. 
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin with 
Rev. Donald Potter officiating. Burial was in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery 
in Beaverton.
