ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. HELEN KENT

   Mrs. Helen Kent, 83, of Billings Township, died Monday following a three-
week illness. Born January 29, 1878, in Oxford County, Ontario, the former 
Helen Colbeck was married to Marshal L. Kent. He preceded her in death on May 
12, 1951. Mrs. Kent has been a resident of Billings Township for the past 80 
years. She was a member of the Billings Community Sunday School and the Dale-
Billings Ladies Aid.
   Surviving are two sons, Claude and Mike, of Beaverton; and two daughters, 
Mrs. Evaline Miller, of Moran, and Mrs. Nina Erskine, of Hemlock; a sister, 
Mrs. Nina Fox, of Brookfield, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services 
will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon 
Showers will officiate and burial is in Billings Cemetery.
