Gladwin County Record dated 01-11/1978 Column - 3 Page - 2 
Flossie Viola Keyes, 84, of 4975 Clarabelle Rd., Clare, died Friday, Jan. 6, 
in the Clare Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Reese on August 
19, 1893, the former Flossie Murphy was married to Jesse Keyes and he preceded 
her in death in 1963.
   Surviving are one son, Bernard of Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Rosevear 
of Clare; one sister, Alta Murphy of Beaverton; 2 grandchildren and 3 great 
grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Coker Funeral 
Home in Clare. Elders Calvin Erhart and Dee Beavers officiated and burial was 
in the Beaverton Cemetery.
