Killian, 73, of 5496 S. M-18, Beaverton, died Monday, March 29, 1993, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Gladwin, after a short illness. Born in Clare, Feb. 7, 1920, she had spent her lifetime in Gladwin County. She was a member of the Beaverton Church of God. Mrs. Killian worked for several years at the Beaverton Dairy Bar and then she worked at Oberloier's. She retired from Essex Wire in Clare. The former Dorothy Stillwagon, she was married to George Killian on Sept. 19, 1936, in Beaverton. He preceded her in death March 1, 1981. Surviving are 2 sons, Leonard and Lester of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Jean) Bentley of Gladwin; 3 sisters, Mrs. Florence Watson of Coleman, Mrs. Margaret Benchley and Mrs. Mable Yager of Beaverton; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Killian on Feb. 7, 1958 and a brother, Vernell Stillwagon on Oct. 1, 1978. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Beaverton Church of God. Pastor Elwyn MacDonald will officiate and burial will be in the Beaverton Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton.
