George C. Killian, 67, of 5496 S. M-18, Beaverton, died Sunday, March 1, in 
Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, Cadillac, following a long illness. Born in 
Beaverton Township on March 20, 1913, he had spent his lifetime here. He was 
employed in construction. Mr. Killian and the former Dorothy Stillwagon were 
married September 19, 1936, in Beaverton.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Leonard of Coleman and Lester 
of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Jean) Bentley of Gladwin; one brother, 
Arthur of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Lois Calhoun of Beaverton; 11 
grandchildren and one great grandchild. A daughter, Doris M., preceded him in 
death.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Brokaw officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery.
