SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. MARK KING

   Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Mark King, 53, who died Thursday 
afternoon, June 9, following an illness of several weeks. Hannah Catherine 
Ostrom was born February 3, 1895, at Jennings, Michigan. She married Mark King 
June 21, 1913, at Rochester, where they made their home until about 1925, when 
they moved to Beaverton. Mrs. King was a member of the Beaverton Chapter 
O.E.S. and held an office for several years. She was also a member of the 
Beaverton Garden Club and took an active part in many civic projects.
   Surviving, besides her husband; are one son, Loraine King, of Beaverton; 
three grandchildren, Delynn and Carolyn King of Midland and Douglas King of 
Beaverton; two sisters, Mrs. Abba Corwin of Lansing and Mrs. Tillie Boswell of 
Detroit; three brothers, Theodore Ostrom of Lansing, Carl Ostrom of Grand 
Rapids and John Adelson of Tustin. One son, Ward, preceded her in death.
   Elder E. J. Kintner officiated at the services, which were held at the King 
home at 1:00 o'clock Sunday. Officers of the Beaverton Chapter, O.E.S., were 
in charge of the service at the cemetery. Pall bearers were Walter Ross, James 
Eisenlohr, Gordon Morris, Ben Tarzwell, Leonard Schwartz and Cecil McKeller.
