Kintner Sr., 72, of Harrison, died Thursday, Dec. 9. Born in Sherwood, Ohio, on May 10, 1904, he moved 12 years ago to the Harrison area from Beaverton. Mr. Kintner was ordained in 1942 as a minister of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints and served the Beaverton Church. He was a member of the Harrison R.L.D.S. Church. He alson owned and operated several businesses in Beaverton and in the Harrison area. He was married to Myrtle R. Bailey on November 26, 1924, in Beaverton. Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Elmer Jr. of Gladwin and Jerry of Swartz Creek; one daughter, Mrs. June Cook of Ludington; 5 sisters, Mrs. Josie Mercer of Beaverton, Mrs. Nellie Paxton and Mrs. Fern Hatch of Flint, Mrs. Edna Diem of Gladwin and Mrs. Bertha Miller of Ossineke; 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held Saturday from the Coker Funeral Home in Harrison. Elder Robert Ball officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
