I. KINTNER Jerome Israel Kintner, 78, died on Tuesday morning, September 30, at his home on West Brown street Beaverton, form a heart ailment of several years duration. Funeral arrangements have been made for Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Beaverton Methodist Church, with the Rev. E.S. Hollinger, of the Brethren church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. C. Kleinhart, of the Clare Methodist church. Burial will be in the Beaverton cemetery. Mr. Kintner was born in Sherwood, Ohio, on August 3, 1869, and was married in Flora, Indiana, on January 1, 1897. In 1913, he and his family moved to Beaverton form Sherwood, Ohio. Mr. Kintner was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Lusetta; one son, Elmer of Beaverton; five daughters, Mrs. Josie Mercer of Beaverton, Mrs. Nellie Paxton and Mrs. Fern Hatch, of Flint; Mrs. Edna Benmark and Mrs. Bertha Miller, of Gladwin; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Rupp of Detroit and Mrs. Belle Fleagle of Sherwood, Ohio; four brothers, Charles of Greentown, Indiana; Frank of Adrian; Ezra of Scottsville and Daniel of Defiance, Ohio; 36 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. One son and one daughter preceded their father in death. Pallbearers will be Sam Asch, Sr., Henry Rau, George Swift, George Burt, Charles Smith and William French.
