Kintner, 78, of 110 E. Knox St., Beaverton, died Monday, Dec. 29, in the Gladwin Area Hospital after a long illness. Born in Harrison Sept. 26, 1908, she had spent her lifetime in the Harrison and Beaverton area. She was a member of the Beaverton RLDS Church. Mrs. Kintner owned the Kiwi Lunch in Beaverton and opened the first Beaverton laundromat. The former Myrtle Bailey, she was married to Elmer Kintner Sr. Nov. 26, 1924, in Beaverton. He preceded her in death Dec. 9, 1976. Surviving are one daughter, June Cook of Ludington; 2 sons, Elmer Jr. of Gladwin and Jerry of Swartz Creek; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Three brothers, one sister and 4 great grandchildren also preceded her in death. Services were held last Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Elder Robert Ball officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
