Dundas Rd., Beaverton, died Wednesday, August 14, at Midland Hospital, following an illness of a month. Born in Sanilac County, January 6, 1904, she had been a resident of Gladwin County for the past 18 years. Her previous residence had been Detroit. The former Thelma Bertrand and Charles Kinyon were married April 6, 1957, in Beaverton. Surviving are her husband, Charles, of Beaverton; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Littlepage of Allen Park; 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Millard of East Lansing; Mrs. Wilma Paulus of Ludington; and Mrs. Margaret Hughes of Gaithersburg, Md.; 3 brothers, Lee Bertrand of Lawton, Rex of Detroit, and Harry of Wisconsin; 2 sisters, Mrs. LaVerne Gerlach of Flint, and Mrs. Irene Williams of Beaverton; and 9 grandchildren. Services were held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home - Gladwin Chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Castanier officiating, and burial was in Highland Cemetery.
