Gladwin County Record dated 09-06/1944 Column - 7 Page - 1
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Beaverton Methodist 
Church for Mrs. Laura Ellen Kiser, 71, long-time Beaverton resident who died 
August 30th at her Beaverton residence. The Rev. Charles Hahn, of Clare 
officiated at the services and burial was in the Beaverton cemetery. Mrs. 
Kiser was born in Ohio on December 14, 1872. Her husband preceded her in death 
in April of 1931.
   Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Esther Swift, of Beaverton; a son, Orval 
L. Kiser with the U.S. Army in India; and three grandchildren.
