Elizabeth (Betty) Nearing-Krzyzaniak, 57, of Linwood, died Saturday Feb 3, 1990 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. She was born Jan. 21, 1933 in Hampton Township, Bay County. She grew up in Bay County graduating from St. John's High School in 1951. She attended Mercy Central School of Nursing, graduating as a registered nurse in 1954. She had been a practicing nurse for 35 years in Bay City. She then was a nursing supervisor for 25 years at Bay Medical Center. She married Clarence (Tiny) Krzyzaniak, April 1989 in Bay City. He survives her. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Edenville and a member of the churches Christian Service Commission. She is survived by her husband, Clarence; her parents, Clement and Isabelle (Richard) Hugo, of Essexville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Gale Neering of Beaverton, David and Kathleen Neering of Bowie, Md., Gary Krzyzaniak, of Virginia Beach, Va., David Krzyzaniak of Linwood; three daughters and son-in-law, Janis Neering, of Evanston, Ill., Kathy and Steve Deyarmond, of Virginia Beach, Va., Karen Krzyzaniak, of Linwood; three grandsons, Steven, Jared and Dave; one granddaughter, Aubrey; two brothers, four sisters. She was predeceased by her first husband, Norbert Neering in 1987. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrataed at 11 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 7, 1990 from St. Anne's Catholic Church, Edenvile, with celebrant Rev. Father Joseph Schabel. Burial will be in Billings Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware-Smith-Woolever and Co. Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m today, and at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of mass. The family will be present at the funeral home today from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. There will be a Vigil service at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. this evening.
