Georginia E. (Gillie) Ladner, 79, 1010 Eastlawn, died Sunday, July 13, 1986, 
at Midland Hospital Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1907, in Canada, and 
attended schools there. The former Georgina E. Gould married Basil Ladner, 
Nov. 26, 1927, in Detroit; he died in 1957. She attended St. Brigid's Catholic 
Church. She leaves a son, Carl (Ty) Ladner of Midland; a daughter, Ann Frey of 
Lathrop Village; brothers, John Gould of Detroit and Leo Gould of West Branch; 
13 granchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a 
son John Ladner, in 1977. Prayers will be said at the Ware-Smith-Woolever & 
Co. Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, with a Mass of Christian Burial to 
follow at 10 a.m., at St. Brigid's Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Greg 
Schimdt will officiate and burial will be in Beaverton Cemetery. A Christian 
wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may 
call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be 
present from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. 
Brigid's Catholic Church or to the donor's favorite charity.
