Mary E. Leuenberger, 83, of 640 Dale Rd., Beaverton, died Wednesday, May 2, in 
the Midland Hospital Center following a short illness. Born in Tobacco 
Township on October 26, 1907, she had spent her life here. She was a graduate 
of Mt. Pleasant Teachers College and taught at the East Billings School for 18 
years. Mrs. Leuenberger was a member of the Dale United Methodist Church and 
United Methodist Women. The former Mary Quillet, she was married to Chris W. 
Leuenberger June 11, 1935, in Williamston, N.Y.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Irene Walters fo 
Beaverton. A brother, Harlan Quillet, preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1961. 
Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Dale United Methodist Church. The 
Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. The Hall 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
