Norrene M. Lewis, 55, of Beaverton, died Dec. 6, 2005 at home following a long 
illness. She was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on Nov. 18, 1950 to 
Harrison and Rose (Breslin) Hitchcock. She was a homemaker and lived in 
Gladwin County for six years, having previously resided in Midland. She 
married Richard Lewis in Clare on Nov. 24, 1999.
   Surviving her are her husband, Richard Lewis of Beaverton; her daughter, 
Jennifer (Bert) Johnson of Beaverton; her step-daughter, Ginger Wilson of 
Midland; her step-son, Earl Lewis of Midland; her grandchildren, Brandon Lang, 
Carly Johnson, Ginnelle Wilson and Crystal Lewis; two step-sister, Vicky 
VanSteenhouse of Unionville and Jane Tobias of Houghton Lake; and one step-
brother, Jack Alexander of Houghton Lake. She was predeceased by her parents.
   Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 10 at Hall Funeral Home in 
Beaverton with Pastor Hugh Lewis officiating. Burial took place in Tobacco 
Township (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. Memorial contributions may be made to 
Pardee Cancer Fund.
