Mark J. Little, 74, of Beaverton, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at home. Born 
Sept. 7, 1926 in Detroit, he was the son of Mark and Beulah (Bates) Little. He 
lived in Gladwin County since 1968 and previously lived in Detroit. Mark 
married Joyce M. Wagner, Jan. 5, 1948 in Detroit. He was a machine operator 
for Simpson Industry-Gladwin Machine Products, retiring in 1988 after 17 
years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He was also a 
member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. 
   Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Thomas J. of Highland, Mark 
E. and wife Rossette of Leigh High Acres, Fla., and Donald J. of Beaverton; 
two daughters, Joan M. and husband Tom Barkulas of Livonia, and Joyce Ann 
Milks of Beaverton; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 
   Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton with 
Rev. Father Todd Arnberg officiating. Burial was in Billings Township Cemetery 
in Beaverton. Memorial contributions may be made to MidMichigan Hospice.
