Mrs. June Belle Long, 86, of Beaverton Township, died Sunday, Jan. 4, at the 
Ovid Convalescent Home in Ovid, after a long illness. Born in Dale, Mich. on 
March 12, 1889, she had spent her lifetime in Gladwin County. She was a member 
of the Daniels Band Church in Beaverton. The former June Wagner, she was 
married to Joseph William Long on May 4, 1909, in Gladwin. He preceded her in 
death on September 24, 1963.
   Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clara Smith of Ovid and Mrs. Jennie 
Cascaddan of Sanford; one sister, Mrs. Eva Truax of Lapeer; four brothers, 
Jesse Wagner of Beaverton, George, Fred and Stanley Wagner of Lapeer.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m. fromthe Beaverton 
Daniel's Band Church. The Rev. Arthur Whisler and the Rev. Wesley Huggard 
officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. Arrangements were in 
charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
