Longstreth, 66, of 660 Dale Rd., Beaverton, died Thursday, Feb. 12, at his home following a short illness. Born in Gladwin County on July 31, 1914, he had spent his lifetime here. Mr. Longstreth was manager of the Beaverton Elevator, a member of the Gladwin County Fair Board and the Dale Methodist Church. He was married to Martha Quillet on April 6, 1963, in Beaverton. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, James of Hope; 3 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Tacey of Beaverton, Mrs. Paul (Marion) Johnson of Florida and Mrs. Doyle (Karen) Donn of Gladwin; a step-son, Harley Quillet of Beaverton; one step-daughter, Ruth Ann Methvin of Beaverton; 2 brothers, Ray of Beaverton and Gerald of Clare; 3 sisters, Mrs. Frances Dubey of Warren, Mrs. Opal Early of Roseville and Mrs. Arthella Land of Beaverton; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
