Madge L. MacIntyre, 58, of 5419 S. Pine St., Beaverton, died Wednesday 
evening, Dec. 14, in the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. 
Born in Detroit on August 9, 1925, she came to Gladwin County in 1972 from 
Detroit. She was a member of the Beaverton O.E.S. Chapter 386. The former 
Madge Young, she was married to Donald MacIntyre in January 1952 in Toledo, 
Ohio.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Glenn and Bruce of 
Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Peggy) White of Edenville; one brother, 
Bruce Smith of Denver, Colo.; and one granddaughter. Rites were held Saturday 
at 10 a.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Carter Miller officiated 
and burial was in the Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. An O.E.S. memorial service was 
held at the funeral home Friday evening.
