Helen L. Mallo, 53, of 8378 W. Blackburn, Los Angles, Calif., died suddenly 
Tuesday, May 25, in Cedars of Siani Hospital. Born in Beaverton on August 5, 
1928, she moved to Los Angeles 17 years ago from Beaverton. Surviving are her 
mother, Mrs. Florence Pendleton of Beaverton; one brother, Elwin Pendleton of 
Wisconsin; and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Pidcock of Linwood. Rites were held 
Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. Elder Donn 
Pendleton officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
