Brown St. Beaverton, died Sunday, March 3, in the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Beaverton April 28, 1924, he spent his lifetime here. He retired in 1981 after 30 years as a reactor at Dow Corning. He served in the Marines during World War II and was a member of the Gladwin County V.F.W. 7303. Mr. Malosh and the former Shirley Lane were married April 5, 1957, in Beaverton. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ralph of Beaverton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Dan (Edda) Yost and Jill of Beaverton; 2 step-sons, Gilbert Roberson and John Shaffer of Sanford; a step daughter, Mrs. Gloria Schreiber of Howell; 3 brothers, John of Beaverton, Donald of Flint and Richard of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Berniece Davis of Harrison and Mrs. Helen Rise of Silver Springs, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch will officiate and burial will be in the Beaverton Cemetery.
