Mrs. Leona A. Marshall, 65, of 1511 Hughes Rd., Beaverton, died Friday, April 
2, 1993, at her home after a long illness. Born in Saginaw, Jan. 16, 1928, she 
moved to Gladwin County in 1981 from Davisburg. She was a member of the All-
Bright Shores Eagles Club 3655. The former Leona Sturgis, she was married to 
Billie Marshall in 1966 in Las Vegas, Nev.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Robert Hall of Toledo, 
Ohio; her mother, Vera Cook of Beaverton; 4 sisters; 2 brothers and 4 
grandchildren. Rites were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Noah Funk officiated and burial was in the Tobacco 
Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
