SERVICES HELD FOR FRANK MARTIN

   Frank Martin, 48, died at his home in Beaverton on Thursday, October 23, 
following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held on Sunday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Beaverton Nazerene church with the Rev. Charles 
Farmer, pastor of the church officiating. Burial was in the Beaverton cemetery.
   Mr. Martin was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on April 6, 1899. He was 
married to Miss Lillian Biller in Detroit on July 2, 1932. They moved to 
Gladwin county two years ago, to operate a resort on the Cedar river just 
north of the Beaverton city limits. Mr. Martin was employed by the Chrysler 
Corporation in Detroit previous to his coming to Beaverton.
   Surviving are his wife, Lillian; one daughter, Marlene, at home; one 
sister, Mrs. Helen Schmidt, of Terre Haute, Indiana. Pallbearers were Cecil 
McKellar, Earl Colbeck, Victor Ricolo, Walter Coney, Leonard Schwanz and James 
Eisenlohr.
