Ronald D. Maxwell, 17, of 5288 Oakridge Dr., Beaverton, died Monday morning, 
Aug. 1, in the Midland Hospital Center, after being pulled from the Tobacco 
River Sunday evening. Mr. Maxwell was born in Clare, May 3, 1971, and had 
spent his lifetime in Gladwin County. He would have been a junior at the 
Beaverton High School this fall. 
   He is survived by his parents Ronald E. and Wilma Maxwell; 2 sisters, 
Christie and Tina, at home; his grandparents, Don and June Maxwell and Bill 
and Mildred Blades of Beaverton. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from 
the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Mark Moore will officiate 
and burial will be in the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
