Goldie M. McCrandell, 88, of Beaverton, died Sunday in Midland Hospital Center 
following a long illness.
 
She was born Dec. 5, 1894, in Ionia County. She had been a resident of Gladwin 
County since 1897. She married Bert McCrandell, Jan 2. 1917, in Beaverton.  He 
died Jan 21, 1981.

She leaves sons, Bert McCrandall, Adrian McCrandall and Bill McCrandall; 
daughters, Nellie Druley, Sarah Alvarez, Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Stauffer Mrs. Lee 
(Edna) Mather, Mrs. Lance (Gurnith) Fischer, and Mrs. James (Violet) Mishler; 
24 grandchilden; 14 great grandchildren; and sister, Mabel Winn.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton with the 
Rev. Norman J. Farver officiating. Burial will be at the Billings Township 
Cemetery at Albright Shores. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime 
until time of service.
