Mrs. J.L. McKimmy, 79, passed away on Monday morning, November 12, at the Mt. 
Pleasant Community Hospital, after suffering a double cerebral hemorrhage. The 
McKimmys were enroute to their winter home in Mt. Dora, Florida, when they 
stopped in Ithaca to have some work done on their car. While waiting, Mrs. 
McKimmy was stricken in the garage and removed to the hospital, where she died 
without regaining consciousness.
   Agnes Irene Boyce was born in Fulton County, Ohio on August 6, 1872, the 
daughter of Stephen and Mary Boyce. She married J. L. McKimmy on January 1, 
1882. they moved to Beaverton in March 1907. Surviving are her husband, J.L. 
McKimmy; three sons, Lester, Ellis and Paul, all of Beaverton; two daughters, 
Mrs. Eldon Witkovsky, of Coleman and Mrs. Ernest Rackel of Fort Wayne, 
Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Edward Rupp, of Beaverton; also sixteen 
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. two children preceded their 
mother in death.
   Funeral services will be held today from the Beaverton Church of the 
Brethren with the Rev. Ernest Jehnsen officiating. Burial was made in Dale 
Cemetery.
