Gladwin County Record dated 11-28/1979 Column - 2 Page - 2
Mrs. Iva McKimmy, 84, of Anderson, S.C. and formerly of Beaverton, died 
Tuesday, Nov. 20, in Anderson Memorial Hospital following a short illness. 
Born in Kosciusko, Ind., on September 7, 1895, she moved to Gladwin County in 
1914. Mrs. McKimmy was a life member of the Beaverton Order of Eastern Stars. 
She was married to Lester McKimmy on  December 22, 1914, in Beaverton. He 
preceded her in death on January 10, 1971.
     Surviving are one son, Henry of Anderson, S.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Rudy 
(June) Kern of Crystal River, Fla.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 
Rites were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Henry List officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
