RITES HELD FOR EX-RESIDENT 

     Leo O. McKimmy, 79, of Detroit and formerly of Beaverton, died Friday, 
Aug 22, in Detroit, after a short illness. He was born in Swanton, Ohio, on 
Dec. 19, 1889. Mr. McKimmy moved to Detroit from Beaverton in 1932. He was a 
retired carpenter. Mr. McKimmy and the former Edna Felser were married on June 
2, 1951 in Detroit. She preceded him in death in August 1968.
     Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Yager, of Gladwin and Mrs. Alva 
Norton, of Northville: two brothers, Ottamar, of Gladwin and Jay, of Tower. 
Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. 
Henry List, officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
