Myrtle Jane McKimmy

Age 90, passed away on March 6, 2008 after a long illness at the Gladwin Pines 
Nursing Home, Gladwin, Michigan. She was born on January 26, 1918 in Amble, 
Michigan to John & Lavina (Bass) Keeler. She married William E. McKimmy 
(predeceased 1980) on January 14, 1938 in Beaverton, Michigan. She was 
employed with the Beaverton School District as a Cook (retired). She had lived 
in Gladwin county most of her life, previously residing in Lakeview, Michigan. 
She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #7303 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by 
daughter: Jolita Warren of Midland; son: Dirk & Grace McKimmy of Beaverton; 
daughter: Marjorie & Charles Dumanois of Manistee; son: James W. "Billy" & 
Lora McKimmy of Gladwin; son: Randy McKimmy of Beaverton; daughter: Sally & 
Kim Majeske of Auburn; son: Michael McKimmy & Shelly of Beaverton; 18 
grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Margie E. Black of St. 
Louis, MO. She is predeceased in death by her husband: William; parents; 3 
sisters: Pauline, Billie & Mary. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, 
March 14, 2008 from 4-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, 
Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beaverton Historical 
Society.
