He had been in ill health for about 10 years and seriously ill for the past six weeks. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Sidney S. Rood, of the Houghton Lake Episcopal church, will officiate and burial will be in Highland cemetery. Mr. McMahon was born in Ontario, Canada, on December 18, 1887, and has been a resident of Winegars for the past 56 years. He married Miss Lucy C. Reid in London, Ontario, in 1912. She preceded him in death on June 4, 1950. Surviving are five sons, George H. of Mt. Morris, Frank O. of Merritt, Leroy B. of Chicago, Robert D. and Laurence C. of Winegars; four daughters, Mrs. Inez Hock of Merrill, Mrs. Gladys Sterling of Beaverton, Mrs. Agnes Howell of Grand Rapids and Dorothy J. at home; two brothers, Lewis McMahon and Fred McMahon, both of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Ida Shanahan, of Ontario, Canada. Two brothers, George and Herbert, and one sister, Mrs. Eunice Thomson, are deceased. Pallbearers will be Earl Shumway, V. C. Doane, Boyd Oard, Earl Currie, Earl Armstrong, Henry Wenz.
