Mrs. Evelyn McMahon, 82, of 301 W. Twin Lake Rd., Beaverton, died, Tuesday, 
Nov. 6, 1990, in the Greenbriar Nursing Home, Sterling, after a long illness. 
Born in Grout Township, Jan. 8, 1908, she lived in Houghton Lake before moving 
back to Gladwin County. Mrs. McMahon taught school in several Michigan school 
districts. The former Evelyn Munson, she was married to George A. McMahon, 
Jan. 8, 1933, in Buckeye Township. He preceded her in death in 1940. 
   Surviving is one son, Leo of Beaverton. A son, Jimmie, died April 12, 1953. 
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Dale Cemetery.
