GEORGE MCMAHON DIES SUDDENLY AT WINEGAR

   George McMahon died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Winegar 
Wednesday, September 4. George McMahon was born in Ontario, November 13, 1875. 
He attended the Schools there then with his family moved to Detroit, later 
they moved to Ontario until 1897 when they moved to the farm in Buckeye 
township, Gladwin county. On January 4, 1933 he was married to Evelyn Munson 
and to them were born two children.
   Surviving him are his wife, two sons, Leo Dale, 6 and Jimmie Roger, 7 
months, one sister, Mrs. Ida Shanahan and four brothers, Herbert, Lewis, 
Frederick and Burton. Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 Sunday, 
September 8, with Rev. Henry Kreulen officiating.
   Out of town people who attended the funeral were Jeffrey McMahon and Mr. 
and Mrs. Leslie McMahon, of Marquette, Mrs. Ida Shanahan and Mr. and Mrs. 
Victor LaPlante of WIndsor, Ontario, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Peters of Flint, Mr. 
and Mrs. Chas. Calton, Mrs. Art Thorpe, Mrs. Leo Winoski, Bud Coombes, Mr. and 
Mrs. Jack Hodge, Mrs. Frank Talbot and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin McMahon, 
Mr. and Mrs. Chester McMahon, Harley McMahon, Mrs. Tom Rosean and Mr. and Mrs. 
Henry St. Mary's of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McMahon of Roscommon, Mr. and 
Mrs. Clarence McMahon of Saginaw, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hawley and Dale McMahon 
of Pontiac, Mr. and Mrs. George Reigle of Bay City, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Taylor of 
Clare, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm Dundas and daughter of Atlanta.
