Mrs. Leona E. Methner, 73, of 205 Tonkin St., Beaverton, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 
in the Clare Osteopathic Hospital following a short illness. Born in Beaverton 
on January 28, 1907, she had spent her lifetime there. The former Leona 
McKibbin, she was married to James Methner in October 1932 in Beaverton.
   Mrs. Methner was a member of the Beaverton United Presbyterian Church. She 
helped her husband operate Methner Oil Co. and the Gem Theatre for many years.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Larry Tallmadge of 
Bellflower, Calif.; and one granddaughter. Services were held today, 
Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Robert 
Bellingar pastor, officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
