Kathryn P. Mewhiney, 37, of 70 N. Littletown Rd., Gladwin, died of cancer 
Thursday, March 15, 1990, at her home. Born in Flint, Aug. 22, 1952 she was a 
unit secretary at the Gladwin Area Hospital for 13 years. The former Kathryn 
Aylsworth she was married to Michael Mewhiney, Dec. 12, 1970, in Fairgrove.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Amy and Holly, at 
home; her parents, Merle and Elsie Aylsworth of Gladwin; in-laws, Jerry and 
Shirley Mewhiney of Beaverton and Reese; one brother, Jeffrey of Illinois; and 
one sister, Elizabeth Bradley of Gladwin. 
   Services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral 
Home. The Rev. Roger Hardy officiated and burial was in Dale Cemetery.
