RITES HELD FOR MRS. ELIZABETH MIDKIFF

   Funeral services were held for Mrs. Elizabeth L. Midkiff, 83, on Wednesday 
at 2:30 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Hall was the officiating 
clergyman. Mrs. Midkiff died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Bruckner, 
in Detroit after an illness of two days.
   Elizabeth L. Frecker was born on December 9, 1874 in Pomeroy, Ohio. She 
married George Midkiff at Pomeroy in 1909 and had made her home in Grout 
Township for 40 years, before moving to Detroit for the past 10 years. Mr. 
Midkiff died in 1950.
   Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clara Bruckner of Detroit, and two 
brothers, George and David Frecker of Pomeroy, Ohio. Burial was in Dale 
Cemetery with Samuel Wheeler, Merle Tuckerman, Lester Burr, Joseph Moll, 
Thomas Anderson and Percy Smith as pallbearers.
