Gladwin County Record dated 06-12/1974 Column - 6 Page - 2
Otis Midkiff, 90, a long time resident of Beaverton, died Sunday, June 9, in 
the Gladwin Area Hospital following a short illness. Born in Meigs County, 
Ohio. Mr. Midkiff came to the Beaverton area in 1914. He was a carpenter and 
waterwell driller. Mr. Midkiff and the former Lettie Hess were married January 
30, 1906, in Meigs County.
   Surviving are his wife, Lettie; and a daughter, Mrs. Eiva L. Page, both of 
Beaverton; and 4 grandchildren. Services are being held Wednesday (today) at 
2:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home Beaverton Chapel with Elder James Wiltse 
officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
