Austin B. Miller, 83, died on Saturday, March 15, at his home in Billings 
township, after a short illness. Funeral services were held on Tuesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Beaverton Church of the Nazerene, preceded by a 
short prayer service at the Hall Funeral Home at 1:15. The Rev. George Bugbee 
officiated and burial was in the Dale cemetery.
   Mr. Miller was born in Helena, Ohio on October 16, 1863. He was married to 
Miss Zadie Hartman, on October 16, 1887 in Sandusky county, Ohio. They came to 
Billings township in 1910 and resided there since, with the exception of three 
years, when they made their home in Evart.
   Surviving besides his widow, Zadie, are one son, Ralph Miller, of Lansing; 
three daughters, Mrs. Maude Miller, of Billings, Mrs. Mae Kipp, of Charlotte, 
and Mrs. Fern Johnson, of Flint; one sister, Mrs. Dill Inman, of Eaton Rapids; 
nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
