Miller, 66, were held on Monday afternoon from the Dale Methodist Church. The Revs. Henry Kreulen and Lawrence Grubaugh officiated and burial was made in the Dale cemetery. Mr. Miller was born in Rocky Ridge, Ohio, on May 21, 1887, the son of Otto H. and Ida Miller. On January 30, 1907, he married Miss Maude A. Miller in Gibsonberg, Ohio. They came to Gladwin county and settled on a farm in Billings township 43 years ago. Mr. Miller also worked as an interior decorator. Five years ago, due to ill health, he retired from farming and built a home in Sun Valley, Tobacco township, where he passed away suddenly Friday, April 23, from a heart attack. Mr. Miller was an ardent hunter and fisherman, a truly great sportsman, and wa busy on the morning of his death making preparations for his trout fishing trip. His creel and rod were all ready for his trip. Surviving, besides his wife, Maude, are two daughters, Evelyn Snide and Eleanor Jardis, both of Midland; one brother, Edward Miller, of Oak Harbor, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Oestreich, of Graytown, Ohio; also two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Earl Colbeck, Shirley Brown, Charles Brown, J. Tremaine, Fred Woodby, Carl Jensen. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Mangus, Gus Ferg, Robert Cochran and Gordon Dundas.
