LANDA MISHLER DIES SUDDENLY

   Landa Mishler, 60, of Beaverton, died suddenly Wednesday evening in the 
Gladwin Hospital. Born in South Whitney, Ind. on Nov. 18, 1905, he had resided 
in Gladwin County 52 years. Mr. Mishler was employed by Dow Chemical Company 
and was a member of the Beaverton Church of The Brethren. He was married to 
the fomer Mary Stern in Beaverton on April 28, 1928.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Robert, of Beaverton, 
James, Chesaning, and Richard of Santingo, Chile; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy 
Shaffer, of Beaverton, and Mary Ella, at home; two sisters; Mrs. Howard 
Malcomnson and Mrs. Lester McKimmy, both of Beaverton; and 20 grandchildren. 
   Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Church of The 
Brethren. The Rev. Randall Roose officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery.
