Mishler, 58, of 2950 Knox Rd., Beaverton, died Sunday, June 21, in St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, after a short illness. Born in Beaverton June 13, 1929, he had spent his lifetime there. Mr. Mishler worked in maintenance for the Beaverton schools, farmed and sold fertilizer for Na-Churs Plant Food Co. He served on the Beaverton Board of Education for 17 years until retiring in 1982. Mr. Mishler was president of the AFL-CIO Local 582, a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren and Gladwin County Farm Bureau. Mr. Mishler married the former Ann Tolly July 17, 1948 in Hope, She died Aug. 21, 1985. He then married the former Sharon Govitz May 24, 1986, in Beaverton. Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, William of Clare, Steven and John of Beaverton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Susan Mapes of Norway, Mrs. Patricia Grant and Mrs. Carol Brown of Beaverton; 2 brothers, James of Chesaning and Richard of Miami, Fla.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Nancy Shaffer of Beaverton and Mrs. Mary Ella Agin of Midland; and 14 grandchildren. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Mike Clark and the Rev. Duane Koontz officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
