Mogg was last seen December 18 when he left to go hunting with two companions. He separated from the other two, and they returned home without finding him. Officials could find no clue to his disappearance at that time. His disappearance followed an auto accident in which he and his two companions had been. His companions reported the crash, returned to the scene, but could not find Mogg. He was reported to have had between $15 and $25 on his person he left on the day of his disappearance. The body, almost beyond recognition, was identified by clothing. Cause of death was tentatively set as drowned. Mogg was born August 29, 1905, in Alfred, New York. Surviving are his father, John Mogg, of Rosebush; two brothers, Rex, of Pontiac; and Robert of Gladwin; a sister, Mrs. Jerry Greer, of Gladwin. Burial services were held yesterday morning at the Dale cemetery, Reverend Raymond Norton of Beaverton officiating.
