Charles R. Moore, 84, of Beaverton, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, at his home at 2995 
Calhoun Rd., Beaverton, following a long illness. Born in Ensley on September 
30, 1892, he came to Gladwin County in 1955. Mr. Moore was employed in the 
tool and die field and worked from Brown Machine Co. in Beaverton from 
September 1955 until his retirement on January 1, 1966. He was a member of the 
First Presbyterian Church of Beaverton and a member of the Beaverton Masonic 
Lodge No. 453. Mr. Moore and the former Marian Hendrickson were married on 
July 25, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio. 
   Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mollie Long of 
Lansing; one brother, Joseph of Beaverton; and one sister Mrs. Georgia 
Stressman of Grand Rapids. Services were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hall 
Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. David Frederick and the Rev. Roger 
Browne officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial 
Service was held Thursday at 8 p.m.
