Marian E. Moore, 88, of 2995 Calhoun Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, July 13, 
1992, in the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Troy, 
Jan. 1, 1904, she moved to Gladwin County in 1955. Mrs. Moore worked at the 
Leland Hotel in Detroit for many years. She was a member of the Beaverton 
Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Stars Chapter 495, Clawson. The 
former Marian Hendrickson, she was married to Charles Moore on July 25, 1949, 
in Toledo, Ohio. He preceded her in death Jan. 25, 1977.
   Surviving are 2 daughterrs, Mrs. Marjorie Horkirmer of Sandy, Utah and Mrs. 
Janet Langley of Rogers City; and one step-daughter, Mrs. Mollie Long of 
Laingsburg. Rites will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Keen will officiate and burial will be in 
the Tobacco Township Cemetery. An OES service will be held Wednesday evening.
