MORRIS Funeral services for Mrs. Gordon Morris, 65, were held from the Beaverton Methodist church on Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Donald Sailor officiated and burial was made in the Dale cemetery. Ada Belle Baker was born in Saginaw county on August 29, 1885. She was married to M. Gordon Morris on July 14, 1909 and has been a resident of Beaverton since her marriage, except when they resides in Bay Port from 1918 until 1938. Mrs. Morris was an active member of the Beaverton Methodist church and Womens's Society of Christian Service, of that church. She passed away last Thursday after an illness of only four days. Surviving are her husband, M. Gordon Morris; one son, Gordon D. Morris, of Sebewaing; three daughters, Mrs. Gayle Smith, of Bay City, Mrs. Fern Kunisch, of Sebewaing and Mrs. Pauline Oak, of Bad Axe; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Munger, of Freeland and Mrs. Benjamin Moulton, of Saginaw; alson eight grandchildren.
