ERMA MORRIS

   Mrs. Erma H. Morris, 74, of Beaverton, died Sunday, July 21, 1991, in the 
Michigan Masonic Home in Alma, after a long illness. Born in Beaverton, Dec. 
5, 1916, she had spent most of her lifetime in Beaverton. She was a secretary-
bookkeeper for Brown Machine until retiring in 1982. Mrs. Morris was a member 
of the Beaverton Presbyterian Church and the Beaverton Order of Eastern Star 
386. The former Erma Perry, she was married to Gordon D. (Bud) Morris on Oct. 
5, 1941, in Beaverton. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1990.
   Surviving are one son, Michael of Clarkston; 2 daughters, Mrs. Val Raye 
Allen of Collegeville, Pa. and Rebecca Morris of Philadelphia, Pa.; one 
brother, Ray Perry Jr. of Murfreeesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Nina Pifer of 
Farwell and 8 grandchildren.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Keen officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Beaverton Presbyterian Church 
Memorial Fund.
