EDENVILLE MAN DIES SUDDENLY

   M. E. "Mike" Morse, 63, died suddenly on Sunday at his home in Edenville of 
a heart attack. A retired foreman with Consumers Power Co. and Myers 
Construction Co., he had lived in Gladwin County five years. He was born on 
April 18, 1900, in Montcalm County, and was married to the former Orpha Ridell 
on May 23, 1931, in Muskegon.
   Survivors include his wife, Orpha; one brother, Raymond, of Grand Rapids; 
three sisters; Mrs. Amy Thurston and Mrs. Erma Stilson, of Morley, and Mrs. 
Alice Ochsankehl of Jackson. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 
p.m. at the Miner Chapel. The Rev. Ronald Meuller, of West Branch, officiated 
and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
