SERVICES HELD ON TUESDAY

   Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Miner Funeral Home 
Chapel for Mrs. Orpha A. Morse, 72, of Billings Township, who died Saturday at 
Clare General Hospital after a short illness. The Rev. Donald Mueller 
officiated and burial was in Beaverton Cemetery.
   Born in Calhoun County, the former Orpha Warner Reidell was married to M. 
E. "Mike" Morse on May 23, 1931, in Muskegon. They came to Gladwin County from 
Jackson five years ago. Mr. Morse preceded her in death on May 12 of this year.
   Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mae Bivens, of Battle Creek, Mrs. Cora 
Garrett, of Weidman, and Mrs. Margaret  Ryder, of Edmonton, Canada.
