STANLEY MORSE DIES SUDDENLY

   Stanley J. Morse, 43, 114 E. Brown St., Beaverton, died suddenly at the 
Midland Hospital Sunday of a heart attack. Born on April 29, 1917, in Mecosta 
County, he was married to the former Clara Thom on Oct. 10, 1937, in Midland. 
A resident of Gladwin County for nine years, he was employed as an electrician 
for the Dow Chemical Co., of Midland. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran 
Church of Gladwin.
   Survivors include his wife, Clara; three sons, Robert, of Beaverton and 
Terry and Randall, at home; two daughters, Janeane and Sandra, at home; two 
brothers, Melvin (Mike), of Edenville, and Raymond, of Grand Rapids; three 
sisters, Mrs. Amy Thurston, of Big Rapids, Mrs. Erman Stilson, of Grand 
Rapids, and Mrs. Alice Ochsenkehl of Jackson his mother-in-law, Mrs. Martha 
Thom of Beaverton; and one grandson. A son, Ronald, preceded him in death in 
April 1957.
   Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's 
Lutheran Church, the Rev. William J. Hassold officiating. Burial was in 
Beaverton Cemetery.
